Hello, Beoworld...
I am fairly new to the forum, just starting to get into B & O in the last couple of months. Have always loved there gear but never indulged in it. Recently acquired both a BeoVision 4 50" (Item 1895126 Type 8951) as well as a Beosystem 1.
From my understand in regards to connections highest or best quality starting on top going down would be
HDMI
DVI
RGB (VGA)
Component
S-Video
Composite
Connection on the BV4...
AV IN ( R/L RCA Audio, Video RCA, S-Video )
COMPONENT/RGB IN ( R/L RCA Audio, VD HD Pr/Cr/R Pb/Cb/B Y/G )
PC IN ( looks like a HD15 SVGA port & a single RCA Audio )
Serial ( looks like a 9-pin RS-232 standard port)
In terms of the BeoSystem 1 to BV4 what connection would yeild that highest quality or best connection?
BeoSystem 1 - RGB (VGA)
Then for the BV4 would it be the PC IN connection or is that strictly for connecting a computer? or the COMPONENT/RGB IN ( R/L RCA Audio, VD HD Pr/Cr/R Pb/Cb/B Y/G )
Regards,
Hiller
