    Beolink 1000 & Beomaster 5500 Loudeness setting

    Hi!

I just got my Beolink 1000 in the post (the older type with the "reset" button)

and if I press reset it seems to jump to the pevious owners setting or something.

Balance is to the right slightly and the treble + bass are up slightly.

I can turn these off easy but I can't turn the loudness setting off. Where is that?

    Cheers

I believe these are the things you can't permanently fix without a MCP or a later model Beolink 1000 Sad

Anyway, this setting will probably be cleared (along with all FM presets, etc) if you remove the battery from inside the Beomaster for 10 minutes or so...

In my 6500 (with the old BL 1000), loudness is the next setting after treble when you keep hitting "sound" (use the up and down arrows to switch on and off). Doesn't that work with the 5500?

    Don't worry! I've got it!

Just needed to press shift and then "reset"

    Thanks!
