    Tube & Chassis repair required on a 1st Generation (10yr) Avant

    My 28" Mk 1 avant (nearly 10 years old) is looking like it will need a chassis and tube change to get it working again...

    Given that prognosis (yet to be formally estimated) am I looking at a repair not worth doing ?

    Anyone had similar repair experience on a 1st generation Avant ?

    Sad but probably not worth doing I'm afraidSad

    The 2nd hand market for these are on an ever downward spiral and a good used RF version can probably be picked up for less than the price of repairs.
