Blue-ray came as a chock for B&O - they never heard about any new media. I guess you have to wait until spring 2009.

    Re: Blu-ray player list

I am not 100% sure, but the Samsung, a Panasonic and a Sony was on the PUC list for the BS3/BV7-40MKIII. You may want to check with your local dealer. However, not a good time to purchase a Blue Ray player (imho), the current generation has a lot of drawbacks. The only one I would buy is the Sony Playstation.....but new Blue Ray Player are close to be released.

This BR are in latest PUClist: Sony BDP 300 (500), Panasonic BD10, Samsung BDP 1400. Sony BDP S1E is there to but DONT buy this one

its "old". If you want one now buy Sony 300 or 500. But the best way to go now is Playstation 3.

None of the BR stb selections are any good. The sonly bdp300 is not a profile 1.1 player and is very slow- 500 is the same, the panasonic BD10- a very old player, and its slow!

PS3 is the one to go for however look out for

panasonic BD50 due in  afew months- that seems to offer what blue ray is capable of. Although it will probbaly be some time before STB is updated

the ps3 is not only the cheapest br option but the best as it's firmware is upgradeable , not only via ethernet but via wi-fi

no other players as far as i know support wi-fi and therefore you'll have loads of wires all over the front room everytime you want to update the thing !
