    Bang & Olufsen have now terminated the BeoMedia product in preparation for the release of its successor at the end of 2008.

    I hope you're kidding...........if that's true we will never see any updates for it....do you have a link or a source for this "news"

    Probably beomedia hardware in the future will be part of the new BS5, and sw updates could be continued.

    No, not kidding - it is an official news release to the UK dealers.

    I have a BM myself so I am as keen as you are to know that it will continue to be developed.  When it was launched there was much talk of continuous development, great potential etc etc - so I too am hoping that BS5 will contain the equivalent of BM inside, and that updates will be equally compatible and beneficial to both.
