    Hi Keith,

Thanks for the info. It looks like you are getting all parts of the phone. What do you not get and have to carry forward from your old phone?

    Ken,

You are correct and that is why frankly it is a good deal if a user has a Mark I Beocom 6000 and wants a Mark II.

So, you DON'T get the following:-

    • Microphone
    • Speaker
    • Battery
    • Back Cover including battery cover
    • Any screws, you use the originals

    You DO get

    • A new front cover and keypad
    • One black & one white connector for keypad to circuit board connection
    • New Display to allow for lowercase characters
    • The main printed circuit board

    Regards Keith....

    Hi Keith,

Thanks again. Just talkt with my dealer, and he told me that they are not allowed to oder this from B&O, as all phone repair is handled by one company. This is for Denmark, could be that the set-up are differeny in other countries.

Do you know where in U.K. I could oeder thise service kit from?

    Hi Keith,

I was hoping to repair a couple of mine. Are they available in the UK?

Before you get the kit you need to make sure you have 2.5 software in your base/pstn otherwise the kit is a waste of time.

Re: Service Kit for BeoCom 6000?

    Hi,

I can't get it to list the sw version. if I type 9#9#9* nothing happens (other than the display show what I typed and it will try to call that strange number). I have also tried to do it from the menu, but still can't get it to show the sw versions. What do I do wrong?

Well I will check too the sw version of my BC6000 base.
I will need to replace the speaker as this one is HS.

    BTW, I have a technical question :
    - Is there two different speakers that manage the sounds linked with the ring-tones and the "bips" made when moving the wheel ?

In fact I can hear the bip, not the ring-tones.
Your answer will help me to know precisely which spare parts to buy (not forgeting the cosmetic aspect of the refurbishment of the phone).

    Thanks for your input.

Thanks Tony for your reply. I can see clearly now what needs to be replaced. Sounds strange that I can hear the BI but not the ring tones.
Anyway, I will plan to get mine refurbished soon.
