    Beomaster 4400 Design Priciples

I have downloaded a fascinating document sent to me by Frede about the Beomaster 4400. Taken me a while to get it down to a size that I could download but it makes fascinating reading. You will want one once you have read this! Downloadable for silver and gold members here.

If you can send me a scan, I would be grateful! One does have to take some ofr these technical documents with a small pinch of salt though. I have one on the Beocord 9000 extolling the virtues of it being a single capstan drive, yet the manual for the old 5000 champions dual capstan drive.

It does make good, entertaining reading although I suspect the marketing bods have had slighlty more input than the engineersWink

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.
