Hi Guys...
Couple of quick comments..
No Bosscom dealer is in Australia, they won't respond to emails, or telephone calls from Australia. I get the feeling someone burnt them a while ago. Best to order the gear through the UK or US if you really need it, Maybe Lee could do something through Beoworld or his store.
Powerlink cable on Ebay is a bit unknown was it MK 1 II or 111? Bosscom and B&O have female masterlink connectors. The B&O/Bosscom wallplates are larger than ours and they look strange.
My experience on wall plates is not good. I spoke to the installer in Sydney a while ago in order to get some plates to show the first Beoworld Australia meeting. I was to buy them but it never eventuated. I suppose to be fair he has made a few for the stores and larger implementations, small batches are not viable.
I used the slimline clipsal wall plates for powerlink, foxtel and RF. The powerlink (female Din) connecters were from Radio parts. When my skirting boards were replaced after a flood I just drilled holes. B&O Australia specify RG6 quad core cable for RF, try bending that at right angles in a skirting board.
Best of luck on this, please kepp us updated and I hope we can all get together soon.
beoaus.
