    Beo 4 Questions...

I just received a Beo 4 with the MX 6000 I got.  I have only used the Beolink 1000 before, so I have some questions on how to find cetain functions.

How do I switch the tv to AV2?

How do I mute the tv volume?

How do I access Tape 2 on Beocenter 9000?

How do I store new settings on the tv?

You mute the sound by pressing in the middle of the volume up/volume down button. Took me a while to figure that one when i got it as well ; )

The manual for the MX6000 with Beo4 is on site.

Is yours a Beo4 model though?

Selecting AV2 depends on what you have attached and is usually done through the Set up menu. V.Aux  is used for non standard equipment.

Storing is usually by pressing GO then Exit.

V.Tape 2 can be added, as can V.Aux, in the LIST system of the Beo4.

OK...I guess the MX6000 is a Beo4 model.  It's what came with the tv.  I believe it's an older model though, no DVD button, bottom row at the top is:  vtape, record, a.tape.  I have gone into the tv menu and told it to "turn on" AV2 to CDV.  When I use the list button on the remote I can't find any reference to Vtape 2... It says:  format, stand, speaker, clock, counter, mono, v.setup, text.  So I try v.setup...my options now are:  tune, picture, sound, store, clear, bass, treble, loudness, s.store.

Also, where is the shift button so I can turn on a.tape 2 on my Beocenter 9000?  How about the Phono button?

On the Beo4 press: [STAND-BY] and [LIST] at the same time. Choose "ADD?" and you can add DVD, A.TAPE2 and PHONO

DVD is the same command as CDV

DVD on the Beolink1000 is [SHIFT] [CD] or [SHIFT] [SAT] (depends on which version beolink1000 you have)

If you assigned CDV to AV2 you need to add DVD to the Beo4 (see post above how to add DVD to Beo4)
