    B&O at CES

Slight miss match in quality of product presentation compared to B&O's requirements for dealer showrooms....

Is it just the light in the photograph, or is that BeoVision 8 on a silver white BeoVision 8 stand?

Purely design-wise there's no comparison at all ... (why the other - surely good sounding -guys just don't get it?), still some of those ProJect turntables look quite cool - though in an entirely different way than B&O's. Interesting pics.

    Dear All:

What a difference between a consumer oriented company presentation vs 'niche' technolove, tweaky one.  I am sure many audiophiles who are not B&O customers, also  care about clean installation at home.  Here the companies know their customers care immensely about specs and want touch and see the 'guts' of what they are being sold.

    Re: B&O at CES

The B&O setup shown at that show is very strange. BV4 with BL10 and BL5, ok. BV8 with BL3, ok (where is the second BL3???). But why 4 BV8 at once? Why are the wires of the "wall-mounted" BV8 not hidden? There is a BS3 standing on the floor in front of one BL5. Not very B&O-like!

    Re: B&O at CES

I thought the shape of the BL10 was just a joke.... Surprise

I don't like it at all! Is B&O trying to remember the "good old days" - AV9000???

The Screen above (strange roundness...) just does not have the right measurements for a - smaller - triangle.

    Still a little "shocked"...

The design of the BeoLab 10 seems to be a bit of a love / hate relationship at the moment. I would prefer to hold back my complete judgement until I see one for real, but I personally quite like the BeoLab 10 placed underneath a BeoVision 4, as shown in the photos of this link. Who has any news on the rumoured BeoVision 10? Maybe it will look better suited underneath one of these. Unsure

    Re: B&O at CES

I don´t think you can wall mount a BV10. The weight is supposed to be several 100´s kg.

    Re: B&O at CES

My dealer told me that the BV10 would have an integrated hydraulic stand, that will "lift" the TV when in is turned on. No wall mounting possible, due to the weight.

However, Panasonic offers a wall bracket for the 103" screen, looks massive, but does exist.
