Difference between MCL2P and newer ML/MCL Converter

    Hi,

I found different data about the power: is it 60 Watt (30 per channel) for both devices or

    30 for the MCL2P and 60 for the ML/MCL?

    Thanks!

They are the same. Both are 30wpc output but it does depend exactly how the marketing men decided to measure it!

Essentially the same output stage as the Beocentre 9500,and they claim 80 watt for that!

The "long term output power" quoted, seems as meaningless as a volume control marked at maximum as "11".

In fairness though, these amps have hidden depths.I've used them as slave amps for garden parties etc,and they give a good account of themselves.

They don't like extremes of temperature though, they sulk and won't work if it's too hot or cold!

    Regards,

    Nick
