    BeoCord V8000 used what price?

Can somebody give me the information how much could I get for a used BeoCord V8000 if salable at all? My BeoCord is about 7 years old, silver, very good condition, and I still have the original package.

On ebay the one being sold at 200 pounds does not find any buyer...

Saw one going at around 140.

For the money it (and the DVD1) will fetch I'd rather give away or keep

I paid £375 for a brand new black V8000 last year with a 4 year warranty from my dealer.

I would say an immaculate 2nd hand one would be about £200? Ebay would be your best bet with a few nice photos! You may get more?

The problem is that Video Tape has simply died! Ridiculous of course but like audio tape before it, it is just not marketed. Recodable DVD is obviously more convenient especially when used in conjunction with an HDD. Expect the DVD2 to give you that option.

My VX7000 only gets used about once every 6-8 weeks now. In fact we are now starting to replace all our favourite videos with DVD's.

I still have a V2000 machine that works! The problem however is that tapes deteriorate with age. Of course recordable DVDs do too!
