    BEOLIT 700

I have a Beolit 700 which requires minor repairs

    The BASEPLATE has become detached.

Can anyone help please - point me in the direction of a reliable repairer ??

Hi CharlesSadler and welcome to beoworldSmile

Is it fair to assume that the 3 plastic "plugs" which hold  the baseplate on and act as sliders are broken?

    Hi Chris

Yes, dead right. Any ideas for a fix

Anybody else looking in: I need a SUITABLE MAINS POWER LEAD also

    Cheers

A bit of a tough one I'm afraid.

Parts are no longer available for these so the best you can hope for is if someone on here has any spares. I've seen people use large flat headed screws sawn down but it isn't an ideal fix to be honest. The mains lead is much easier, it is a standard figure of 8 lead which is used on most portable & some mains appliences such as Sky boxes etc...........

Charles, PM me your address & I'll pop some alternative plastic studs (non original buy they look great) in the post to you.
