    What is your favorite watch?

    Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a new watch and getting some ideas about what to get. I thought it would be nice to see what kind of taste in watches B&O fans have. You can show a favorite watch that you own or would love to own. Thanks for any input.

    Sincerely,

    Joe

p.s. I love watches from classic to modern

I have a Breitling Trans-ocean chronograph from the 1970s (stock photo here that I nicked from a website). Has the Valjoux 7740 movement. Lovely watch that I might be soon parting with as I just bought an RF Avant.

Bit gready at the moment I guess. I have an Omega Seamaster Profesional, Omeaga Seamaster GMT Automatic, Heuer French Edition 1979 Chronograph and a Beuche Girod dress watch. You should hear the s*** I get off the missus. I love the GMT out of the 4.

I have JLC Memovox from the 1950's inherited from my grandfather and I wear it everyday.

    Would love a Reverso.

Almost purchased an IWC Portuguese two weeks ago but decided against it as I spent a little too much traveling/staying in nice hotels at New Year.

    I have a Rolex Explorer 2 for 8 or 9 years now. I am eyeing a Panerai GMT 40mm

    http://www.panerai.com/s_page.xpd?id_lingua=2&id_sezione=16&id_prodotto=5904&id_categoria=37

but can't find it anywhere and I want to see it first and let that feeling settle in before I make a buying decision.

At the same time my Rolex still works like a charm, had it cleaned 1.5 years back. I might just stick to it.

    Cheers

    Thanks Darren

It had been a long search. I think it was back in April last year that we talked about them when you picked that CDX up. I've moved since and now have a much larger living room. Got one in pearly black which should match some of the other stuff in the room. Am well chuffed!

Re: What is your favorite watch?

Never really been into watches, but Lee very kindly gave me an Omega Seamaster "Black Bezel" edition as my Christmas bonus last year.

Lovely watch, and best of all, it's the one James Bond wears in the GQ adverts!!

Too scared to wear it most of the time, especially when I'm heaving Avants and BV5's about all day... Wink

These are my four favorite watches: Rado The Original and Sintra, TAG Heuer Monaco and Jaeger LeCoultre AMVOX2. The last one is the Nooka ZAN-30, which is the one i actually own and wear.

Re: What is your favorite watch?

One of my favourite watches is an old gold Omega, which I inherited from my father.  He had helped a refugee escape from the *** in 1938 and took the man to England, where my father got him a job.  The refugege was very grateful for all the help and so gave my father this watch by way of thanks.  It continues to keep good (it is regularly checked and serviced) and on my death will go to my eldest nephew for  safe-keeping.
