    Linking with Beosound Century

    Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible to link a Beosound Century to a MX4000 via 7-pin Datalink cable. Has anybody experience in that?

    Alex.

You cannot 'link' as the Century has no Datalink. But you should be able to play the sound via Aux. 5 pin DIN is all you need.

    Thanks Peter,

but does this mean that I can "cable together" Century and MX and then listen the sound played from the Century through the BL8000-speakers connected to the MX. Is this "commanded" by AV-CD (-Radio, etc.)?

    Alex.

No, aux on Century is input only. Your only chanse is to use the headphone minijack connected to one of the scarts on the MX. I don´t know if this will work. Anyone?

If it will work you still cant use [AV]. Instead open scart input on MX by pressing whatever you name it to ([SAT] etc.).

To change station or track you must first press [CD] or [RADIO]. To change volume you must again press [SAT] etc before you adjust the volume.
