I agree, and at 'only' $16,000 including the amplifiers it looks like stunning VFM compared to the other speakers there. Simon

To me that might be a list of one of the two se*iest speakers ever (BL5 + BL5000) and the 14 spaciest speakers...

I would say the B&W Nautilus first, then in second the BL5's. Guy

Re: The worlds 15 se*iest speakers... ;)
I would feel uncomfortable with ANY of those sitting in front of me. In my opinion they're all very ominous and aggressive looking to be in a domestic environment (except the BL5's and maybe those plants speakers).

Re: The worlds 15 se*iest speakers... ;)
I think the BL5's are the only ones here that live up to the billing - some of them I suspect only Prizedrawbot would find attractive Chris. EDIT:- due to the "S" word in the title I've had to edit it as the forum blocker dumps them into the awaiting approval area. Please bear this in mind when replying to this post as the same will happen to your reply! Simply down to the very sensative controls we have on the blocker and one of the reasons this site rarely sees any unsavoury threads. Nothing wrong with this word at all but it will just slow down the appearance of your reply until a moderator approves it.

NO Beolab 8000 in the list, it's a shame I think they forgot some very nice Italian Sonus Faber speakers too, instead of a few very ugly speakers in the current list...

Out of all of those I would take a pair of BeoLab 5s and happily decline the rest!

Have you seen the Nautilus in the flesh? They're not as beautiful as you'd expect. There's something a little 'dumpy' about the appearance. Their plinths also remind me of old weathered statues.
Wonderful sound though, but the BeoLab 5s are much better sonically. Having heard BeoLab 5s with a mains conditioner (which really, really surprised me), I'd say the 5s would happily take on any of those speakers sonically, call me silly

Kef Muon, I would say. Never heared it though, but the Kef Reference 207/C is the best speaker I ever heared. Silly Alex!

That should of been called the worlds 14 weirdest speakers. Not one of those apart from the Lab5's look good to me. Craig

And you thought B&O was expensive... I also would say that BeoLab 5 is the only one that's quite easy to clean...the other speakers require a full -time staff!

Oh yes, those KEF muon speakers do look pretty, but nothing compares to the understated and all conquering BL5!
