The new book - Swiss Precision - The story of the Thorens TD 124 is released now (January 2008). This is second edition and in English.

And why tell about this book here? The Beolab 5000 system (1967)  - Beogram 3000 with this Thorens TD 124 MKII is the link. B&O used this classic Thorens for a short periode - 1968.

In this book on page 112 - 113 you will find "Module for an Exeptional Hi-Fi System" Beogram 3000 - the short Career of the Thorens TD 124/II at Bang & Olufsen. On those two pages you will see a few pictures of the Beogram 3000 and of course the Beolab 5000 total system.

I was invited to write the text and send the pictures and I am very happy to see all is used and the auther actually used a full 2 pages for this Bang & Olufsen classic system.
