    Which remote

which remote would be best (ie work everything !) for the following system

    mx7000 TV

    Beocord 7000

    Beomaster 7000

    DVD1

Is there a version (is so which one) of the Beolink 1000 that would work

I would presume that the Beo4 would work really well in your setup! I may be (and probably am) wrong though Smile

    Re: Which remote

radio tuning of BM7000 might not be that easy with Beo4.

I would recommend Beolink 1000 (last version, with LIGHT button)

The 5000 and 7000 are ideal for BM7000, as they are 2-way-remotes, but fragile, expensive,

and controlling DVD1 is not ideal with 5000/7000.

The Beolink 1000 is easy to find, not expensive and very robust.

It doesn't have a DVD biutton, but control is possible by selecting SHIFT + SAT

The MX7000, depends on the version, Beo4 is ideal for the later models,

but Beolink 1000 can be used as well.

To the left of the connections on the back of your TV, there is a sticker MX7000 BEO4 or just MX7000

If it's a MX7000 beo4 both remote will work fine

If it's only MX7000 then beolink 1000 is the best.

    Re: Which remote

    Found it!

You have to trick the Beo4 into thinking it's tuning the TV.

    Right, here goes-----

1 Add V.SETUP to your list
    2 Press Radio
3 Leave the room and press TV and then list until V.SETUP appears
4 Press GO, it should then say TUNE
5 Return to the room were your Beomaster 7000 is
6 Press up or down til you get the fequency you're looking for
7 Press list until STORE appears
8 Press GO 17 Go (presuming you want to store your new station as 17

Bit long-winded, but it worksFPRIVATE "TYPE=PICT;ALT=Geeked"

    Re: Which remote

arhhh, does not work for me....

seems like when the TV is activated in another room and I return the BM does not react to the up/down in Tune mode

    Re: Which remote

It's worked for loads of other people mate. Are you sure the Beomaster is in the right option?
Can you make the Beo4 read 'TUNE' in the display?
