    Com2 registration

I am trying to register a com 2 I have had for a while in a drawer. It is fully charged and I have reset the handset. It is asking for a PIN code. I have not set a PIN for it in the past. I have tried 0000, 9999 and 1111 but all I get is 'base reg is not possible'. Any ideas welcome.

To add, the phone was working perfectly whenI was using it before.

    Re: Com2 registration

The early Bc2s were stand alone, ie one handset on one base. Are you trying to register it to the same base it had before?

    Re: Com2 registration

    Hi Andy,

It is a 2nd generation com 2. I am trying to register it to a PSTN that has 1 com2 and 3 6000s already on it.

    Re: Com2 registration

Jonnie, if I was in your situation, I would remove all handsets from the base and register them all again.
Maybe there are other handsets registered to the base. If there are more than six then it will ask you for a pin number (8 if it's the new small Beoline)
Once you've removed them, check that there aren't any more you don't have.
Let me know how youi go on, eh.
