Hi, me again. Found this in the spec for the 7-40.

CINEMA : Projector control + 2 outputs for control of external functions (optional)

 

Does anyone know how the 2 outputs can be used ? It would be really nice to set down the lights in the living room when accessing the cinema mode. To control the outputs, does that require the cinema mode or can I control them without, for example, a projector ?

These 2 outputs are contacts and part of the cinema-control-module. They are closed when cinema mode is activated. You can change the timings in the BV7 menu "cinema timings". I have connected the digital inputs of a Lintronic box -238  to these contacts. The Lintronic box controls the projector (Hitachi), motor screen, light....triggered by the BV7.
