    Does the HDR2 allow users to watch a digital channel and view at different digital chanel at the same time?

    No, as it does not have a built in tuner.

    It allows you to record a channel, while watching a recording of another show, or of the show you are currently recording (but with a delay).

    Yes. You need a Digital Box connected to HDR2-STB and another Digital Box connected to BV (if you don't have a BV with a intern TDT).
