From Vision to Legend/From Spark To Icon books

Just wondered if anyone could help with much info on these books please as I am thinking about trying to get a copy. Does anyone know how they were distributed? Were they ever for general sale? How limited were they? Is the second book just a straight updated version of the first book? In other words, does the second book include everything that was in the first book (plus the updates) or was there anything left out of the second book?

I have seen the page on Beoworld about the first book but just wanted some extra info. Any comments gratefully received.

    Thanks

     Mike

Available from your dealer - Spark to Icon has some pages of newer products at the back, otherwise they are very similar. There is a limited edition signed by Peter Bang.

    I second that.

I got the latest edition not signed but a great book to have.

You can get them at qxl.dk too. It's a Danish auction site so mostly European customers.

My dealer usally always have a copy for sale even today when I was in the shop for a minute.

i bought my copy on ebay.de, there are always some copies on auction there. the B&O dealers have to buy the books from B&O and give them to their "good" costumers. I think a good price is 35£/ 45€

    Dear All:

The layout and pictures in the new edition are much better imho.

A must get for B&O fans and sound reproduction history fans as well.

Re: From Vision to Legend/From Spark To Icon books

Many thanks for the replies to my posting. It is a lot to pay for a book but I get the impression that those who have bought it think it is good value for money?

I had a look at Ebay.de but I am pretty sure that the people selling it would not ship to to the UK where I live. I think I will keep an eye on the UK Ebay for a copy and hope I am lucky enough to get one.

    Thanks again.
