    Pin codes

Does anyone know which models of BS3000 and Ouvertures did they introduce pin codes?

Not sure Ouvertures had the PIN code feature. I believe some early 3000s didn't have it either. But not having owned one of these, I wouldn't take my word as gospel!

Only the select few are in Struer. I am kept locked in a small cave! Just finished scanning the BM6000-2702 service manual - only fair I am afraid but on site. Still working out the intricacies of my new scanner!

Seriously I would have liked to go but as a GP, it is tricky to get away some times. Lee and Ed are there and I am sure will be far more capable than me anyway.

My BS3000 does not have a PIN code. Not sure of the year but it is a large clamper model.

    Re: Pin codes

I bought a BS3000 in Oct 2004 and although it had the PIN code facility it was not activated from factory, so the customer could decide to use it or not.  I think it became factory set at the begining of 2005.
