    BeoGram 2200

    Dear all BeoGram-bonkers BeoWorlders,

I have just aquired a BeoGram 2200 in mint condition and had a good read about this turntable on the BeoWorld Product pages. However, I was wondering whether anyone might have any BeoGram stories to share with us all here on the General Forum?

I don't have a very great experience with record players, so are there any Do's and Don't Do's that I should be aware of?

All comments would be appreciated. Smile

    Re: BeoGram 2200

One thing I found was that after buying a Beogram my vinyl collection expanded very rapidly. Now have both cubes of my F1000 full with LP's. What are you going to connect to, as you may need a seperate RIAA if it some of the newer equipment.

Hi Craig. Thanks for your reply.

I haven't yet connected it, but I was planning of connecting it to AUX of my Ouverture. Is this okay, or do require something more?

Yes, you will need an external RIAA amp for it to work.

Thanks again Craig, but I have no idea what an IRAA amp is. Can I find one anywhere, and for how much?

Henry, I got a very good RIAA for £50 from www.musicmatters.co.uk they have a London branch. Mine is a Pro-Ject. Not sure of the model. It is buried behind my F1000 unit. Will try to dig it and take a look.Wink
