Does anyone know if I can connect and use a "hockey puck" IR tranceiver and connect it to a MCL 2AV.......

I've got reason for this...question..there is an old and very rare wall charging unit for the Beolink 7000 which has a "Hockey puck" mounted to it to transceive to a MCL version.....so i'm wondering if i Can do this???

 Deep thought please....  this old wall unit does exist, though rare.

Hi Frank,

I have connected a hockey puck sensor to a MCL 2A with no problems except that as I only used three wires for +5v, ground & data you cannot use any of the buttons, only by remote control.
