    Using BL6000 on BS9000 AND non-B&O TV ??

I am currently using a Beosound 9000 with 2 Beolab 6000 (and a Beolab 2). What I would like to do now is the use the 2 BL6000 as speakers for a soon-to-be-purchased Loewe Individual Compose 40 TV.

Would it be possible to connect both the BS9000 and the TV to the BL6000 speakers (not to the BL2 at the moment)? Is there an adapter/switchbox or something else I can use to connect the Line Out of the TV to the second Powerlink Socket of each speaker? The TV has a volume controlled Audio Out with RCA/Cinch plugs.

The intention is to either use the speakers for the Sound system or for the TV - only one source at a time. Maybe it would be hepful to have some kind of "signal priority" if both systems are turned on at the same time accidentially (in this case the Audio System should have priority).

Using the search function in this (and other) forum(s) did not give me a final clue, so maybe some of you is able to post the "final word" on this subject ;-)

    Thank you

Connect your new TV to the AUX input on the BS9000 instead and control the sound level on the 9000...

This would only be the second best solution. I would prefer not to have to switch on the BS, select AUX and set the desired volume level by a combination of two sources - this is not very "wife compliant" ;-)

I would prefer to solve this with an external adapter box - even if I have to spend some money for that!

If it was me, I would go for a kit that will make Beo4 control your kikinoko TV. Lintronic.dk or oneremote.dk or something like that...

    BTW welcome to Beoworld Smile

What I did was buy a 2nd pair of speakers to connect straight to the TV.  So I've got my BL6000s and a KEF sub connected to the BeoSound 4 and then I have a pair of BL4000s connected to the TV.  Then my AppleTV and DVD go to the TV and I just listen to that stuff with the 4000s.  I did this because I was tired of all the surround wiring and stuff everywhere.  I hardly watch TV or movies at home and just wanted something better than the stock speakers in the TV.  I didn't want to run the TV to the BS4 because the AUX port has my Airport attached to it.

It is hard to imagine that there is no such thing like a little box (maybe with its own power supply), which has one (or two) Powerlink in plug(s) and two line in ports (left and right) and another one or two Powerlink out plugs which carry either the Powerlink Input signal or the Line signal (whatever is active) or gives priority to the Powerlink Input (if both sources are active).

Is there anybody out there being able (and willing) to build such a box ???

    Regards from Vienna

Google for DeToma X501. Might suit your needs. Not made anymore, but sometimes on ebay...
