Sorry if this a question I should have been able to find the answer to. Does the Serene have any web browsing capability or just email? 

It does have it, BUT ... as many web pages contain more and more info it seems that one mostly gets the following message: 'file too large'  on its screen instead of the page you wanted. Also, the software(?) does not support 'movie files'. Will there be any updates on this I don't know.

I think it has a WAP thing, but (despite owning a Serene) I'm not exactly sure. I've never really seen the point of web mobiles, although the iphone with it's scaling/zoom thing might change that opinion. To be honest, the Serene doesn't have too many features, it just looks amazing and has a good sound quality. Being design obsessed though, I love it!

Thanks!  trying to decide if I want to buy one. I do not use web browsing very often but every now and then use it briefly.
