    Bv7-40 freeview record button

Has anyone else come across this record option , This in on a BV7-40 with built in freeview ( DVB-T ) , go into the program guide then 7 day list for one of the channels , then blue for specific program information . At the bottom left of my screen there in a red square with record next to it , press it and the start / end time boxes appear , you can alter these and then save , it then confirms it has been stored . That's as far as it goes , can't find a recorded program list to replay and not a mention in the book . Looks to me as if whatever module they have used the hard drive function has been removed but the forgot to alter the screen menu option.
Pity as that would have been a nice extra .

I wonder if it refers to the HDR2?

And to the Beocord V8000? I used this function with my old MX7000 programing it by teletext, and with my old BV7-32 in the same way. Maybe the BV7-40 does the same with EPG list.

But have you got a recorder?

With HDR2 and V8000, the BV7 stores the programming in the recorder, so if you do not have one, the programming may be lost.

I think your right , looks like a link to a recorder that shouldn't be there unless you have one , I have Sky HD so can record using that so I won't be adding a Hdr .
