I noticed that the link only opens the article about "best cinema experience".

Therefore i've added the following link :

    "40 years of colour TV"

Very interesting article, it also shows the first B&O colour tv, the Beovision 3000 SJ,

    24 inch, 52 kg (!), price DKK 7450 (around EURO 1000 / GBP 700) , in 1967 !

    Whoah!!

In the UK, the average price for a HOUSE was £4,640 in 1967 - so that puts the price into perspective!!!

Todays average UK house price is £173,000 - so by comparison the BeoVision 3000SJ cost an equivalent of £26,099 !!!!!!!

Yes, UK prices are crazy at the moment, but it makes interesting reading all the same. Smile

    Wow!
Thanks for that Ignace, fascinating reading.
B&Os website is improving, love the way the 'newspaper' pages turn and the English spelling and grammar are impeccable.

The Danes actually take great pride in being as gramatically perfect in the English language as possible.

I speak regularly to a few Danish people who's command of the English language is actually superior to most of the population of the UK !!! (mine included)

your'e right Lee - mkes you feel quite humble to hear mainland Europeans speaking "better" English than 90% of UK residents.

    Very cool article. Beautifully done.

Here in the 'States, the general public's command of grammar is also seriously declining. It's sad!

    ...my two cents ~AJ
