    The B&O stock...

... has been falling for the third consecutive day after publication of their annual report. The market does not seem to be positive about the B&O business outlook.

To be fair, most stocks have fallen, whatever they sell or do. Just be glad that the end of easy 'private equity' groups means we're unlikely to see B&O falling into the hands of the kind of people that would asset strip and reduce the company to selling equipment through Wallmart/Tesco and the like

Sell on good news, buy on bad news. Seems to be the case here too.

I don't think this is really bad. A lot of people also sell the stocks to take their profit with it. Later they will buy again. Same thing with AAPL

Bear in mind that B&O have been doing a lot of behind-the-scenes updating with their TVs, which I would imagine is a considerable job from a technical point of view. We can't expect as many new products, when effectively, the BeoVision 7 is an internally completely different set as from quite soon...

Daniel is right about selling on good news. I listen to BBC Radio 4 Today programme in the mornings and they often report company's interim and final reports and when it is a good financial report nine times out of ten the company's share price has dropped immediately.

For me this is a good time to buy B&O shares for two main reasons 1) the price is lower than it was 2) they have already spent the R&D money on new products which we will see in the coming two years and their product gross margins continue to go up year-on-year which for shareholders means potentially more operating profits and therefore dividend payments to shareholders.

The company has also this year provided all employees an allocation of shares..

    Re: The B&O stock...

Everything is slowing down now so this is to be expected which is maybe why there will be less new product releases and a continuation of the current range for the foreseeable future? would that be a fair comment?

The boom of recent has to stop somewhere for a correction to take place, what happened to the markets last week is a clear indication that things are not as rosy as many would like and with what 4 increases in the base rate this year alone, the outlook is not good... many are liquidating assets and cashing in so to speak just in case there is a collapse or crash etc..
