    Sad [:(] BeoLab 2

My wife is not happy with BeoLab 2 wants it moved so that it cannot be seen, would it be a crazy idea to try and site it on top of cabinet which holds some glass bottles, or cwould there be a great loss to surround sound if it were put to back of room.

It does not have to be that visible but I wouldn't put it on a cabinet as it will probably vibrate the cabinet! Mine is to the side of the TV and almost behind a chair. It is also now blue so that it matches the TV and so does not stand out so much. Which other speakers do you have? You could try it at the back of the room though you will obviously need a long Powerlink cable. It should not affect the surround sound too badly but the only real way to know is to try it.

    Welcome to Beoworld!

Try and avoid placing it right in a corner, as it can sound very boomy and O.T.T!

Over The Top. It does have some switches to compensate for this though.

Agreed, but sometimes this isn't quite enough, and it can still end up sounding boomy. As Peter says though, there is a switch on the back to compensate for placement.

Funny to hear how different people can feel about a product; I have the BL2 for quite some time know and have it stationed right next to my Avant and still love to look at it every day. Would not think about moving it out of sight!

    Re: BeoLab 2

Thank you Peter and Alex for advise, it looks like I will have to go to back of room and try and hide it behind a chair.

     Thanks for welcome -
