    Beo4 and beosystem 2 problems

    Hi,

Can anyone advise how to solve a recent issue thats appeared with my Beosystem 2 /BV4-50 with sky HD. Pretty much any sky command i make from the Beo4 seems to atleast double for example if i press arrow up once to look through the sky banner it will not just move up to the next programme but instead move through atleast two to three programmes, the blue favourite button is the same instead of moving on one prog/channel it shoots forward again by two or three. Ive tried changing the blaster cable but have not gone down the road of swapping out the ir sensor. I have tried a different remote!!

    Any thoughts?

    Regards,

What kind of audio device have you connected to the system 2?

If you press 1, do you get 11?

If so, then it could be a wrong option setting.

Thats interesting as i just connected a BS3200 today, hit option 2 and it seemed to work but i must admit i did really look into the correct option settings. The timing of this fits with the problem...

Just unplugged the masterlink cable and all is back to normal. I must have used the wrong option settings!!

    Cheers,

BS3200 in option (Aopt) 0, BS2 in option (Vopt) 2, if there are no speakers attached to the BS3200.

Option programming while the set is in standby. Red dot lights have to blink once an option is programmed.

Thats great, thanks for the help. Serves me right for being too lazy to do it right the first time.
