    BV7-40 MKII and iPad 1

Has anyone tried connecting an ipad to a BV7-40 MKII?  Looking on amazon most of the cables only support video rather than replicating the ipad screen.

I am interest in trying to get the SkyGo app to work on the TV so not sure if it will, anybody got any experience of this?

    Thanks

    Dan

Don't mess with cables, go wireless.

Daniel is 100% correct. Madness to somehow spend time and effort trying to figure how to connect an iPad to a TV. The quickest option is to get an Apple TV, connect this to your TV (via the DVI socket) and then mirror the content from your iPad wirelessly through your Apple TV. Games on the iPad can be played on your TV and so on. Added bonus is that you can use the Apple TV for streaming movies and your music, via your TV!

Thanks for the replies; my only concern is the lack of input options on the MKII.  I already have a SKY+ box via DV-I and an old style ATV on composite.

I really like the older ATV as it holds my entire music collection locally, no need to have itunes running on a pc somewhere + can control it with the b&o remotes and iphones / ipad.

How would I connect the newer ATV to my TV?

    Thanks

New ATV supports HDMI not composite so that seems to be a problem for your older kit.

Also, playing games via iOS mirroring only works on iPad 2 (or iPhone 4 and above).

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
