Programming Beolab 5 with Beolink 1000 remote

I have recently bought a pair of secondhand Beolab 5. I dont have any additional B&O equipment, so I need to reprogram these to the Option 1 setting. My problem is that the previous owner gave me a Beolink 1000 remote to do this with.

Could anyone explain how I do this? I have managed to enter the PIN-codes, but still not a sound.

I also do not know how to turn them on and off with this remote.

    Thanks

    Paul

"SOUND" "1" "STORE" on a BeoLink 1000 should set the BLb 5s to "A.OPT 1"

You can easily download the user manual from the B&O Homepage:

To set BL5 to OPT 1 press LINK - 1 - STORE. BL5 must be in STDBY mode.

Hehe, this worked :D Thanks guys!

I also see that I´m missing the sync cable and digital cables. What kind of cables do I need?

Any normal RS232 cable will do perhaps for the sync?

And any normal 75kOhm cable for digital signals?
