Beolab 3 from dealer, good price?

Im new in this community and my plan was to just use the Beo5 remote to run the AV system I have at home.

The more im looking in to Beo products, the more I like them.

I just got a deal from the dealer with a pair of Beolab 3 speakers.

1200 dollar for a used pair with 24 month warranty.

The only downside is that they are red and in my mind I wanted white.

Also.. when did the MK1 MK2 MK3 come?

Would you live with a different colour and is the price good?

    Cheers!

    $1200 for a pair of BeoLab 3 ?  Surprise

Pick up the phone, immediately, and give him your card details.

    Better yet

Pm me and tell me where they are.

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!

well... this was a deal to good to be true.

At the final stage when I asked how to pay, the price double. It was not a pair, it was per piece.

I've never understood how/why you sell stereo speakers individually - apart from the BeoLab 7.1/7.2/7.6 of course.

They come in pairs - that's the idea of stereo sound isn't it !

    I was wondering the same.

Just feel dumb that I wasted his time emailing me.

But on the other hand, he´s the only Beo dealer in the hole denmark listing the Beolab 3 price a piece.

The hunt contiue :) still want them!

I asked a dealer for my favourite bicycle and he offered me a good price. When I accepted his offer he told me the price was only for a half bicycle with one wheel. Haha!

I was ready to ship a container load of new B&O from Germany when I went in to a showroom and saw the speaker prices.

That was until I was told it was the price per speaker Ick! . I found this really odd too!

    Hi guys,

My B&O dealer explained me why prices in the catalogue are for 1 x speaker.

It's because a client can order just one speaker if he wants (i.e for a Cinema set-up).

When he told me that, I asked him if it was possible to order 1 x BL9 in red and 1 x BL9 in white....he told me: NO...

    Why? He doesn't know.

    To be continued....

    Cheers,

Individual speaker pricing is quite common for studio monitors!

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.

    I agree.

From my audio experience, it has always been this way and I always put up with it. In any case, I always make a point to ask!

My dealers always posted prices for pairs.
