B&O Avant 28" Silver - Tips on cleaning?

Hi there, can anyone suggest a sensible way to clean the front speaker grill?  The grills are silver and have a few greasy marks on them which I'd like to try and clean up.  I believe the grill is removable and the material feels like lycra (very similiar to the Ouverture 2500 speakers)

I was thinking something like vanish spray, or plain old soapy water might do the trick (with grill removed!)

Does anyone have any suggestions before I go ahead?

    regards

I always use some soap and water in the bathtub. Just leave it in there for a while. And it is actually a good idea to remove the grill from the Avant, otherwise it will not fit into the tub........Big Smile

And after cleaning / washing, leave them on a towel or something on a drying rack to dry.

Because of the water absorbtion the fabric might be to heavy and start to stretch if not dried carefully which is not good of course.

    Happy washing  :o)
