I was just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the BL6000s vs 8000s. I have an opportunity to upgrade for a pretty good price and wondered if it will be a significant improvement or not.

In my opinion the difference is significant. Go for it.

But make sure you`ll buy the BL8000 with bassupdate (2003 SN 169...) or the latest BL8002 (both are better at lower frequencies than the "older" BL8000).

Agree - 6000 and 4000 are basically pretty similar though I think the 4000 is better. The 8000 is that bit ahead - half way to 1s. They should be though - quite a bit more expensive. I still prefer my Pentas though!
