The DVD2 is not one of B&Os high points in ease of use! Possibly because it is a rebadged Philips!
Try this!
Finalise discs
To
be able to play a DVD+RW/-RW in a different DVD player, it is necessary
to finalise it. After this no further editing or recordings can be made
to the disc.
> Load the DVD+RW/-RW in DVD 2
> Press GO then 3 to enter edit mode
> Use the arrow buttons up or down to highlight 'FINALISE' and press GO

> press GO to proceed, or

· |
> select 'CANCEL' and press GO to cancel the operation

Finalising a disc may take more than 30 minutes.
While finalising a DVD+RW/-RW, do not open the disc tray or switch off the system, as this may render the disc unusable.
