    BS 9000

I have a BS 9000 and it has had a power problem since I bought it.  The unit will not turn on either at the control pad or with the remote.  The dealer told me to unplug it from power, turn it on for 30 seconds, turn it off, plug power cord back in and it should work.  Unfortunately it doesn't.  I have sent it back to the shop several times and the problem just keeps coming back.  Any suggestions or better yet a real solution to my problem.

An obvious thing, but if older model or brand new, it has a red master on/off button on it's side.

    Hmm

    Big Smile   translation/correction :   BSd 9000 Mk1 and Mk2 (till 2001) had a "real" power ON /OFF switch -
recent MK3s don't have this red mains switch anymore ...

Correction, the red button is there once again on the bs9000. Because of the EU standby power consumption laws.

Saw it two weeks ago at my dealer.

Andreas, regarding EU models you are right!

After 8 years without the ON/OFF switch the switch "came back" early 2010,

For some markets outside EU there are still versions produced without a power switch ...

The power switch is on but the BS 9000 does not turn on nor is there a power indication light on the speaker led.  Is there an internal fuse that I can replace?

If there is no red light on your speakers then they are either faulty or not connected to the mains!

So what you are saying is that your unit has never worked?? How much have you spent on this diagnosis??

Please give us more details about the components you're using in your system

    BeoSound 9000 - that's clear

    but:

Bang & Olufsen TV connected ????
    Spekaers ????
    other (Link) rooms connected ????
