Question regarding Mac Mini (HDMI) and Beovision 7

Hi,

I have a question regarding the Mac Mini and Beovision 7.

I've attached the Mini via HDMI to my BV7 to stream Music directly out of the iTunes library to the TV and the attached speakers.

Is there any chance that I can listen to the music without the screen being turned on?

If I sleep the display in OSX, the music stops just like turning the entire system off.

Can the "picture mute" function be the solution?

try AV PC (or AV Aux, AV MEM whatever the mac is connected to)

If that doesn't work, you can always use Plex. Plex is free, and has iTunes integration standard built in. With using Plex you can be sure your Mini doesn't sleep while you listen to music.

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
