Connecting Beogram 9500 to Beocentury system

    Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and wondering if somebody can help.  I have an old but much loved Beocentury system, and I am trying to connect my even older Beogram 9500 to the auxiliary socket on the back.  It works, but I get a very low sound volume.  Any solution.  I am guessing it is because my Beogram does not have a built in amplifier?

Hello and welcome to Beoworld. You are correct about your problem. It is because the Beogram 9500 does not have a RIAA built in. You can of course use an external one. One of the sites sponsors sells them. Have a look at the link below.

Thank you for the link.  Sunds like this is my solution.  Do I simply purchase, plug in and problem solved?

I am using a JEC TC 754, where you can connect 3 more entrances, like TV, Computer etc.

    Here http://www.phonopreamps.com/

you will have to get or make a 5 pin DIN to 2 RCA to connect to the amp in, and 2 RCA to 5 pin DIN to aux in

Yes Amer, the one in the link is simply plug and play. It comes with all the required DIN leads.
