Sorry, tracks must be placed in folders? As in, each track in its own folder, or the entire selection of tracks in a single folder?

Tracks Must not be placed in the Root, as many track you like in a folder, but as I remember there mustn't be a folder in a folder.

So really i just need one folder with my music in it? Thanks for dealing with such simple questions for me, lol. I'm planning to get a BeoSound 3, and already have an SD card writer & 1gb card, so I want to have a sample of music on SD card to take to the B&O store with me.

A folder = album so you can flick through the folders, but it will not play tracks that are in sub folders. You gaet the hang of it. We use an iMac and a card reader to place our music onto the SD, the only thing we had to do was convert the AAC files to mp3, and it was all sorted, it really is very easy and flexible.

I use several folders. On my BS3 I think I use up/down to select folders </> to select tracks. I too drag and drop to my SD card reader from iTunes.

Actually what you are planing to do, is what i do already. I do not have a BS3 but a BS4. So i copy my songs in MP3 192kbps onto the SD card, and i divide the different albums into different folders. So BS4 then shows me the folder names while playing it, so i named the songs after the Album or Artist. Too bad it does not read ID3 tags that are in the MP3 file, so the actualy playing track is only displayed as a number, and not the songname. But anyway, it's quite comfortable to move the songs onto SD and have them played.
