Got a very strange problem with my Beosound 2! Sometimes when it is inverted or generally moved about quickly, it slows the music speed down just like in the days when batteries were going flat on a Walkman. It can also decide to skip back to the beginning of a track if it is moved. It is generally ok on a flat surface, but I want to use it for walking around and running.

Any ideas?

That sounds bad! Has to be electrical clearly as solid state memory. No doubt will need new innards. The 'service manual' is laughable and the components surface mounted. Buy an iPod! I did! Maybe a change of battery?
