hi all, is there any sound difference if i connect my bl3 to bl11 directly. as compared to both speakers connecting to my avant tv. will the bl11 'help' the bl3s in this way?

If your Avant had a surround module then you'll notice a slight difference (on movies with surround sound) due to the fact that the subwoofer signal is directly sent to the BL11. 

Keep in mind that in this case the dipswitches on your BL11 should be set to "EXT. BASS MANAGEMENT" (page 6 of the BL11 manual)

If you only have a music system then just plug the BL3 into the BL11 and select INT. BASS MANAGEMENT.

You have some advantages if you attach the BL11 directly to the avant (with DD/DTS module).

You can control the volume of BL11 independent from the front/rear speakers. And the frequencies send to the BL 11 depends from the type of front speakers you've set in the setup/sound menu.
