Anyone can help on this one, I have a beosound 9000, BV4-50 and Beosystem 1 and wish to use my ipod touch as both a media server for music to play thru my B&O as well as a universal remote. Im thinking can I use beolink for iphone and use it as a remote and server or do I use an airport express and plug directly into bs 9000? 

Use an AirPort Express and Airplay for the music stream. That is all you need unless you also have a PC or Mac with iTunes as media storage.

If so you also use Apples Remote App to control the media stream from Computer to Airport Express.

Both works well.

If you added an ML Gateway, you could control every thing via your iphone with the Beolink app.
