Learning to use the Beo4 [EDIT: this paper has apparently put some Beoworlders into a coma!]

Although 8 years old this is an interesting [and/or boring] paper on learning the functions of the Beo4 with a VCR Avant.

    I agree with Steffen.

I started to read the link attachment, and two Expresso later was finally able to finish it. It is informative, but very dry. The study validates my continued use of the Beo 4 remote.

Although I'm not going to discuss its merits as such (because I didn't read it Laughing), remember that it's a scientific article, not a sales pitch or a Harlequin novel...

Personally I've never been too impressed with the ergonomics of the Beo4 by itself. This article discusses the entire user interface including the controlled device though, and that works much better.

I have a Sony BR player, and its remote has 49 (!) buttons. Can't see why it should have more than 10...
