    BeoCenter 1 Update ?

    Hello there,

    My collegue asked me if there is a possibility to update the BeoCenter 1 SW in order to read divx and/or mpeg.

    Is it possible?

    In order to read DivX (MPEG-4) your BeoCenter1 needs to be equiped with the P2 DVD drive introduced in 2005 (I don't know if there was any). All previous drives, i.e. ASD1 (introduced in 1999), SD3.3 (2002) and P1 (2004) should be able to read VCD (MPEG-1) or SVCD (MPEG-2), regardless of the SW.
