    Pricing Beovision 8-40

    I've been told that the upcoming BV8-40 must cost 4000 euroSmile

    It would be cool but i think more near 4500 (or between 4200-4500).

    uk dealer states bv8 40 between £3400 - 4000 ukp more likely £ 3400

    will have slightly better speaker than 32

    It has been suggested that it will be closer to £4000, the initial price was to be around £3400-£3500 but will the fall of the pound it is likely to be priced slightly higher.

    good point on dollar

    the kroner seems to track the eurohence uk price increases in recent years

    the speaker more like bc6 quality than bv8 acccording to dealer

    and no price increase on bno but there will be on bose etc the dealer sells other brands next door

    More watts very rarely means better speakers/better sound, I expect they may do something with the drivers at the front of the cabinet. The subwoofer seems more than capable but as a centre channel, those little drivers at the front of the BeoVision 8-32 will begin to struggle, especially if sat between a pair of BeoLab 9s! Smile
