    Controlling my Mac

    Hello

I am looking for some help, I currently link my Beosystem 3 and BV 4 into a Mini Mac, from this I mainly run Plex using the B&O provided Apple Remote option on the Beo 5. Like many others I would like to run it as a seamless system.

Could someone tell me how I can program the characters C and X into my remote as this will allow me to use the Beo5 in isolation rather than in conjuction with an apple keyboard.

On a wider note, is there a way that I can call up specific programs on the Mac from the Beo 5 so that I could switch for instance between Plex and another program.

    Regards

    Pete

What are the other program's you want to launch and control?

PhilLondon (Phiippe) has built the impressive LinkPlayer which will allow you to launch and control:

    1. Plex
    2. eyeTV
    3. iTunes
    4. Apple's webkit browser for coach surfing

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

You would need a Beoport however to use this.

Yes, I know that; however the requirements are unclear so I am trying to understand whether the OP is seeking a media-centre solution or whether they are seeking a more generic, computer-style capability.
