    problem with beo5 configurator software

    I am trying to connect my beo 5 to my windows7 computer , but  get this message :  Driver not properly installed

     

    anybody here know if it will work with win7 ?

    there is no problem running the software , but it will not connect to the remote.

    If the driver is not correctly installed, then the configuration Tool will not talk to your Beo5.

    To manually update or install the Beo5 driver take the following steps:-

    Press START >> CONTROL PANEL >> SYSTEM

    Now select DEVICE MANAGER under the hardware section

    You will see a USB device with a yellow exclamation mark next to it, right click on it

    Left Click UPDATE DRIVER and you will go into the driver install wizard. Do not accept the automatic install options, but click the button which allows you to select the location of the driver which is located at:-

    C:\Bang & Olufsen\Beo5 Configuration Tool\Beo5Driver

    It will be looking for a configuration file called Beo5Usb.inf

    Hi Keith,

    must be missing something here because it tells me it needs a digitally signed driver and the one provided is not so won't install?
